Cease Animal Torture (CAT) advocates the liberation and ethical treatment of all animals.
As a collective:
-We promote veganism and direct action as effective ways of working toward animal equality.
-We oppose factory farms, fur and skin production, animals in entertainment, vivisection, and all other forms of speciesism.
-We encourage the students of California State University Long Beach (and people everywhere) to see animals as living beings and not products.
Band of Mercy L.A. is an abolitionist animal rights organization in the greater Los Angeles area. We are above-ground activists fighting to end all forms of speciesism and dedicated to total animal liberation.

The North American Animal Liberation Press Office (NAALPO) was founded to communicate the actions, strategies, and philosophy of the animal liberation movement to the media and the public. Many of these actions are illegal under a current societal structure that fails to recognize the rights of non-human animals to live free of suffering, but validates and promotes the "right" of industries to do whatever they want to animals for profit or research. Within these conditions, those in the underground working for animal liberation often cannot speak out directly. Nevertheless, their actions and message is urgent and deserve to be heard and understood.
Since animal liberation actions either go unreported in the media or are uncritically vilified as "violent" and "terrorist" with no attention paid to the suffering that industries and individuals gratuitously inflict on animals, NAALPO seeks to clarify the motivation and nature of actions taken in defense of animals.
The Press Office also tries to provide a historical, social, and philosophical context for an objective understanding of the nature and motivation of illegal direct actions taken on behalf of captive animals. While the Animal Liberation Front, or ALF, is currently the most active liberation group, the Press Office will report on ANY act of animal liberation, and provide the press and general public with information on the actions and ideology behind them.

Animal Acres is a farmed animal sanctuary and compassionate living center located just 45 minutes from Los Angeles.
Animal Acres works to promote compassionate living through its farmed animal rescue and refuge efforts, public education and outreach, and advocacy projects to prevent cruelty to farmed animals. Since we opened our doors in 2005, thousands of people have visited the sanctuary and learned that farmed animals need protection, and love, too.
Irvine Students Against Animal Cruelty (ISAAC) is a club dedicated to raising awareness about and actively trying to change the plight of non-human animals in our society. Through campus and community outreach,promoting veg*ism, volunteering and activism, we aim to inform people about the various ways animals are used in our society and the cruelties involved in producing animal products. We similarly aim to produce humane alternatives to animal products, inform people about how raising animals for food affects the environment, and to stress the health benefits associated with veg*ism.
Vegan Outreach is working to expose and end cruelty to animals through the widespread distribution of our illustrated booklets. As a Vegan Outreach activist, anyone, anywhere, in any situation can be the best possible spokesperson for the animals. ARME's mission is to eliminate the suffering of all animals. This goal is achieved by rescuing unwanted and homeless animals and by educating the public of the vast extent of the suffering animals endure in our society. Through its actions and words, ARME advances the freedom of all animals.
